1. About these terms

These terms govern the use of engiflow (a working name), a cloud service that helps engineering offices manage projects, documents and supervision with the help of AI.

By using the service or creating an office account, the office and its users accept these terms. A person who accepts them on behalf of an office confirms that they are authorised to bind it.

2. Current status of the service

The site available today is a prototype with illustrative data. It has no real accounts and no database; anything you enter stays in your browser.

Do not enter real client data or documents into the prototype. The rest of these terms apply once the commercial service launches.

3. Accounts and seats

• The office owner creates the office account and is responsible for inviting users and setting their roles and permissions.
• Each seat belongs to one named person. Sign-in details must not be shared.
• The office is responsible for everything that happens in its account and must tell us promptly if it suspects unauthorised access.

4. Plans and payment

• Prices are in UAE dirhams before 5% VAT, and a tax invoice is issued in the office's name.
• Subscriptions are charged per seat, monthly or annually depending on the plan, and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
• Every plan includes a monthly AI allowance per seat. The office can buy extra packs shared by its users; unused allowance does not carry over to the next month.
• The free trial lasts 14 days unless agreed otherwise in writing, for example under the design partner programme.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Unused parts of a period are not refunded unless the law requires it.
• We give offices at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and it applies only from the next period.

5. AI features

• Everything the AI produces (reports, letters, photo readings, bid comparisons, drawing reviews) is a draft or a suggestion, not an engineering opinion.
• A qualified engineer in the office must review and approve every AI output before it is used or sent. The office remains professionally responsible for its documents and decisions.
• Outputs may contain errors, and authority requirements may change before the platform reflects them.

6. Office data and ownership

• Everything the office uploads or creates (projects, documents, drawings, photos, correspondence) belongs to the office.
• The office gives us a limited permission to process this data only as needed to provide the service to it.
• We do not use office content to train AI models, and we do not sell it or share it for marketing.
• The office can export its data at any time during the subscription and for 90 days after it ends.
• Our team does not view the content of an office's projects. When support needs it, we request temporary access that the office owner approves; it expires after 24 hours and every step is logged.

7. Acceptable use

The office and its users agree not to:

• Upload content they have no right to use, or content that breaks UAE law.
• Try to access other offices' data, disrupt the service or test its security without written permission.
• Resell, copy or reverse-engineer the service.
• Use the service to issue misleading documents or documents attributed to someone who did not issue them.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available at all times, with scheduled maintenance announced in advance where possible. Data is backed up daily.

Support is by email on UAE working days. The Enterprise plan may include a service level agreed in writing.

9. Suspension and termination

• If an invoice is unpaid 30 days after its date, the account may be suspended after notice to the office.
• Data of a suspended or cancelled account is kept for 90 days, during which it can be reactivated or exported, and is then permanently deleted.
• We may suspend an account immediately for a serious breach of these terms or a security risk.
• The office can cancel its subscription at any time from its account settings.

10. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or lost profit, or for engineering or financial decisions made on the basis of the platform's outputs.

Our total liability to an office does not exceed what it paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We email offices about any material change 30 days before it takes effect; continuing to use the service after that means accepting it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the Emirate of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
